Preparing for your first trip to the Vet
On your first visit to our clinic, please bring your pet in a secure carrier or cage and arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. It is recommended to bring droppings/stool samples for all doctor visits. For bird species, simply bring the newspaper lining the cages from the previous day. For smaller birds, we strongly encourage you to bring your pet in his/her home cage, just remove the water from the water cups before travel to avoid spillage. For small mammals and reptiles, you may gather some stool (if available) and place a sample in a clean covered container. For fish, simply bring your fish in an oxygenated bucket as well as carry a spare equal volume of tank water in a separate container. When you arrive, our front desk staff will check you in and prepare you and your pet for your checkup!
